2020 Next Generation Honoree: MBA’s Grant Carlson is Hardworking and Intelligent CRE Professional
Grant Carlson plays an important and impactful role in the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) team’s ability to identify, manage, and communicate about policy matters that are important to Commercial Future Leaders members. Carlson leverages his insights, experience, relationships and energy for the good of MBA and MBA members.
In particular, Carlson was nominated for his proactivity and confidence to speak his mind, which has helped the CREF policy team operate at increasingly higher levels of effectiveness. Carlson had already been working at a high level, but his contribution to MBA has grown more during the difficulties of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Carlson’s effectiveness and his ability to work across the organization has not dropped off at all as a result of the firm’s extended remote working situation.
These are just a few of the reasons we chose Carlson to be one of the D.C. region’s 2020 Next Generation Award Winners. Connect Media’s fourth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
