2020 Next Generation Honoree: CushWake’s Connor Barnes Shines as Detail-Oriented Real Estate Professional

Connor Barnes intrepidly represents the next generation of real estate professionals. His willingness to speak up and his determination to help the future generation make him stand out among his peers.

In an industry where time is scarce, he takes the time to listen and thoughtfully discuss issues. Barnes is important to Cushman & Wakefield’s work around the future of real estate and has been able to bridge gaps between the firm’s more seasoned professionals and newer faces.

Barnes’ work to identify new business opportunities in rapidly changing areas, such as Cambridge and the Seaport, has been key to helping Cushman & Wakefield’s clients achieve some of their biggest successes in those areas. Geographically, he’s charged with discovering and executing opportunities within the highest velocity areas in the rising greater Boston real estate market.

While foresight is important, Barnes’ real strength is his focus on the details. When everything is moving at such high speeds, finding the right moments in time are key for identifying strong opportunities for clients.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Barnes to be one of the Boston region’s 2020 Next Generation Award Winners. Connect Media’s fourth annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
