Next Generation Honoree: CBRE’s Taylor Scheinman Rises Quickly Through the Ranks

Taylor Scheinman joined CBRE four years ago, quickly building up her client list and her reputation within the commercial real estate industry through a series of impressive deals and accomplishments representing both tenants and landlords. Most recently, Scheinman earned two promotions in 2018, rising to her current level of First VP.

Those are just a couple of the reasons we chose Scheinman to be one of the New York 2019 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s third annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.

Scheinman recently led a team in negotiating two transactions totaling 75,000 square feet for etc.venues, a London-based company opening its first U.S. locations. Working with an overseas client required her to help sell a vision to etc.venues, not just a physical space. She flew to London to meet with executives and stakeholders in order to gain a deeper understanding of the business. Ultimately, etc.venues inked two deals in Manhattan.

Having risen to the role of First VP in a short time, Scheinman is well-suited to working with junior brokers, often mentoring younger people on her team in conjunction with her packed schedule. Her dedication and ability to connect with everyone—including clients, colleagues and competitors—doesn’t go unnoticed. She is regularly sought out by senior leadership to join and assemble teams for high-level pitches, working on deals from the ground up.
