Next Generation Honoree: Nate Lowy Leads Rapid Growth at Juniper Capital

Nate Lowy began his career as a junior analyst in real estate, and in 2016 founded Juniper Capital Group, a boutique, independent financial advisory firm. Through this platform, he offers debt, bridge, mezzanine and joint venture financing for commercial real estate assets, primarily in the middle market.

Operating with a small and dynamic team, Lowy has been able to close more than $500 million in deals since launching the company. His commitment to his team’s success also translates into commitment to getting the best possible deals for clients. This resulted in the financing of $200 million in property at 50 buildings in 2018, representing 30% growth over 2017.

That’s just one of the reasons we chose Lowy to be one of the New York 2019 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s third annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.

Lowy constantly monitors the market, paying keen attention to the daily real estate and banking activities through daily team meetings. He operates on a team-building spirit that requires his employees to stay updated on every process of the deals from inception to close, and at many times, after. He stresses the importance of building client relationships along with teamwork.

Even with all the work and competition in the real estate world, Lowy remains active with Jewish philanthropic charities and organizations.
