Next Generation Honoree: Seattle Native Nate Fliflet Personifies Today’s Broker at Colliers

Colliers International’s Nate Fliflet handles leasing and sales assignments for tenants and property owners throughout the Puget Sound, with a concentration on serving clients with commitments and interests in the Bellevue, Eastside and south Sound markets. To some, he represents the personification of the next generation of Puget Sound brokerage leaders as a landlord agent, investment sales professional, and tenant representative.

Unico Properties and Goodman Real Estate are among the landlord clients who have trusted Fliflet, sometimes launching relationships with him via an off-market transaction he conceived, sold them, and brought to fruition. Fliflet also worked with Offerup to develop and implement a strategic real estate plan in Seattle that allowed for intelligent, staged growth as the company progressed from start-up to technology unicorn.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Fliflet to be one of the Seattle & Pacific Northwest 2019 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s third annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.

Fliflet has represented numerous properties in Seattle as both leasing and sales agent since brokerage became his focus. These include the Seattle Design Center, Yale and Thomas Building, Colman Building and the Medical Dental Building. He also was part of a team that leased more than 200,000 square feet of space at Smith Tower, and later participated in the sale on behalf of Unico Properties for nearly $73.75 million.

Fliflet understands the impact even one person can make on the world, and strives to be an agent of change in his personal time. He cares deeply for his native Seattle, supporting numerous community endeavors and charities. He was recently named the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2019 Washington/Alaska Chapters Man of the Year for his advocacy and fundraising efforts for the organization, raising over $50,000 in 2019.
