Next Generation Honoree: Cushman & Wakefield’s Morgan Relyea Colt Demonstrates “Uncommon Leadership,” Strong Work Ethic and Industry Dedication

Connect Media’s third annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.
Colt’s leadership credentials are impressive. She is the youngest member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Advisory Board, and a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Future Leaders. She is co-chair of Mentoring & Training with Houston’s NAIOP Chapter, and is an executive member of C&W’s Tenant Advisory Group.
Colt also demonstrates an “unbending dedication to her craft,” according to Lou Cushman, Vice Chairman of Cushman & Wakefield. “She devours every Houston office building article and legal document she can get her hands on in order to accelerate the learning curve.”
Colt’s abilities with social media, as well as her collaborative nature, has led to success and professional recognition, such as the 2018 “Heavy Hitter – Office Tenant,” and Women Who Mean Business “Women to Watch” awards (Houston Business Journal) and NAIOP’s 2015 “Office Rising Star” award.
Noted Cushman: “With 54 years specializing in tenant representation brokerage, I can honestly say that I have never seen such a mature young talent. And, unlike so many brokers of the same age, Morgan’s work ethic is unmatched, at the same time achieving a much-admired work/life balance.”
