Next Generation Honoree: Trammell Crow Company’s Deniz Arac Delivers Results in Portland

Deniz Arac is a Development Manager at Trammell Crow Company (TCC) in Portland, the most active industrial developer in the greater Portland metro area, having developed more than five million square feet in new projects since 2005. He joined the Texas-based developer in 2017, after serving at Harsch Investment Properties as a development project manager.

Arac is responsible for the successful delivery and closeout of TCC development projects through the day-to-day coordination of design consultants, general contractors, inspectors, City and other agency officials, property managers and leasing teams. He is a member of Trammell Crow’s nine-person Portland development team, and holds a LEED Green Associate certification from the USGB’s National Capital Region Chapter.

These are just a few of the reasons we chose Arac to be one of the Seattle & Pacific Northwest 2019 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s third annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders in the commercial real estate industry who are likely to be influential for years to come.

Arac’s also responsible for the ongoing management of project development budgets and schedules, and communicates project progress and benchmarking of base business plans to internal team members and development partners. In addition, he plays a key role in the pursuit of new development projects including due diligence studies, underwriting, budgeting and preconstruction assessments for RFQ/RFP package responses.
