Next Generation Honoree: Ross Stores’ Dan Franz Masters Retail Deal-Making
Just 26 when he joined Ross Stores two years ago, Dan Franz is already well on his way to becoming a retailing veteran. This second-generation real estate professional has been in the sector since college, when he did deals on behalf of Kirkland Home Décor.
Franz then went onto stints with Five Below and Total Wine & More, bringing the latter into the Denver market among the 23 leases he executed there. For Ross Stores, he’s involved in everything from leasing and site selection, to legal, construction and property management in five Southeastern territories.
A range of experience at a young age is just one of the reasons we chose Franz to be one of the National 2019 Next Generation Award winners.
