Next Creative Campus Takes Shape in Marina del Rey

Site prep is underway on a six-acre site in Marina del Rey, CA that once held a Teledyne Technologies facility that manufactured electro-mechanical sensors and transducers. A venture between El Segundo, CA-based Continental Development Corp. and Mar Ventures, Inc. is developing Alla Road Creative Campus near the end of the Marina Freeway.

The project includes three, two-story buildings totaling 155,000 square feet that incorporate second-level outdoor terraces. A one-acre, landscaped communal outdoor space will feature a central lawn, bocce ball court, table tennis area, outdoor exercise area and open seating work areas. A separate four-story parking structure is also planned.

Once soil remediation is completed, construction of the Gensler-designed campus is set to commence. The modern architectural style utilizes a natural palette that reflects the surrounding beach community and Ballona Wetlands.
