
NewRez Takes Entire Top Floor of 17000 Katy Freeway
NewRez LLC, a national mortgage lending and servicing organization, has signed a long-term lease for 60,188 square feet encompassing the entire top floor at 17000 Katy Freeway in Houston. NewRez is relocating from its previous location on Dairy Ashford Road to continue to grow its Houston footprint. The NewRez name will be featured prominently with building top signage.
Marshall Clinkscales with Colliers represented NewRez in the leasing transaction. Transwestern’s Eric Anderson and Parker Burkett provided agency leasing services on behalf of the building owner, InSite 17000 KF LP, an affiliate of Insite Realty Partners LP.
“17000 Katy Freeway offers many of the attributes NewRez was seeking to upgrade their image and increase efficiency,” said Burkett.
17000 Katy Freeway is located in the Energy Corridor in the Park Ten Office Park, and offers visibility along with ingress and egress off of Interstate 10. The property boasts large, flexible and efficient floorplates, the potential for building-top signage, class-A finishes, a new tenant lounge with on-site dining and an above-market parking ratio. The 174,521-square-foot office structure is now 70 percent leased, but the entire ground floor consisting of 53,000 contiguous square feet is currently available and can be demised to accommodate a variety of users.
