NewQuest Revamped Houston Retail Center to Re-Open With WoW Factor

NewQuest Properties acquired the suffering 10-acre Pavilion Center at 12220 Westheimer Road two years ago. Since then the company has been renovating the 90,000-square-foot center, and the new venture, which cost $12 million, will be called West on West, or WoW. It’s expected to reopen this fall.

Just a few miles from Chinatown, nearly all of the tenants will be Asian food and beverage purveyors. WoW will open with Asian supermarket chain 99 Ranch Market as the 33,029-square-foot anchor and 90% occupancy overall.

Restaurants such as Tsujita Artisan Noodle, Paris Baquette, The Alley, SomiSomi, Lady M, Kaiten-sushi Ginza Onodera by Tokyo-based The Onodera Group and Gen BBQ House have all rented space.
