Grand at Aliana

NewQuest Lands Dick’s, Haverty’s at 650K-SF Richmond Retail Center

NewQuest will begin construction on the last major expansion of the Grand at Aliana to make room for Dick’s Sporting Goods and Havertys Furniture in the 650,000-square foot fully leased development in Fort Bend County.

The pair of publicly traded companies takes the anchor roster to 11 in the Grand at Aliana, a three-phase premier development spanning 107 acres at the crossroads of W. Grand Parkway/TX 99 and W. Airport Boulevard in Richmond. Dick’s Sporting Goods will occupy 60,249 square feet and Havertys, 27,253 square feet, when they open in Q4 and Q3 2026, respectively.

Josh Friedlander represented NewQuest in the Dick’s Sporting Goods lease. He partnered with David Meyers, managing director of leasing and development partner in the firm, to negotiate the Haverty Furniture Cos. Inc. transaction. Matt Reed and Greg Bracchi of SHOP Co. represented Dick’s Sporting Goods. Mark Reeder, Ed Heap, Jonathan Probst and Ryan Johnson of SRS Real Estate represented Haverty Furniture Cos. Inc.

NewQuest began work on the Grand at Aliana in 2019.
