NewQuest Hoping Kyle Feels the Vybe
NewQuest is looking to create a “lifestyle center” on 100 acres in Kyle, one that will include space for big box retailers, restaurants, multifamily projects and various gathering spots. They are calling it Vybe Park and they expect it to cost $204 million.
The company recently provided the first details of the project to be located on the east side of I-35 on Bebee Road.
Far from a sure thing, developers are still in the process of creating the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone, purchasing the land, zoning it and establishing a development agreement.
The Austin Business Journal reports Houston-based Transwestern Commercial Services LLC would develop the three-story multifamily community. Architecture is aimed to channel both modern industrial and farmhouse designs with a mixture of brick, steel and green spaces.
