NewQuest Debuts Major Tenants at Hutto Center
NewQuest Properties has new plans in the works at Townwest Commons in Hutto, just northeast of Austin. The center is adding 100,000 square feet of entertainment, retail and restaurant space in 2024.
Construction will ramp up in the second quarter on a 53,500-square-foot EVO Entertainment Center, the newest anchor for the next phase of the 24.5-acre development. EVO features movie screens, bowling, climbing walls and arcade games.
Meanwhile, a 50,886-sf Academy Sports + Outdoors has opened in the development in time for holiday shopping.
NewQuest’s Q2 construction will include two retail structures totaling 28,000 square feet. One has been pre-leased to a national pet retailer and leading discount chain, and the other will be filled with small shops.
