NewQuest to Build 110K-SF Asian Retail

NewQuest Properties has secured acreage in Frisco, TX, and will break ground next month on Frisco Ranch, a 110,000-square-foot Asian retail center. The specialty center will be situated on nine acres northeast of Preston Road and Warren Parkway, on North Texas’ $5-Billion Mile” corridor. Delivery is anticipated for summer 2017, with Houston-based NewQuest having leases in hand totaling close to 60,000 square feet.

Asian nationalities accounted for 11.4% of Frisco’s 152,710 residents, predominately Millennials with growing families. The median age is 36, yet one-third of the city’s total population is 17 years old or younger. In the Frisco Independent School District, 20.9% of the student population is of Asian descent.
