Newmark Tapped to Lease Five-Story Commercial Condo in Brooklyn

Newmark was appointed as leasing agent at One York Street, a newly constructed, 87,000-square-foot commercial property in Brooklyn. Executive managing directors Justin DiMare and Ross Kaplan will lead the assignment on behalf of new ownership.

Located at the base of luxury residential development Olympia Dumbo, One York Street is a five-story commercial condominium operating as a building within a building. The property comprises two floorplates of approximately 40,000 square feet each, complemented by a private 30-foot lobby entrance and direct access to a secure parking garage.

“This is a rare opportunity for an institution to establish a significant footprint in Brooklyn’s most iconic waterfront district,” said DiMare. “With soaring ceiling heights, unmatched branding potential and direct access to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and on-site parking, One York Street is well suited for cultural, healthcare or educational users seeking a flagship presence.”

The space will be delivered in white-box-ready condition, offering a blank canvas for long-term institutional users, according to Newmark.
