Newmark Scores Curtis Palmer

ARA Newmark, the Southern California branch of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, has named multifamily specialist Curtis Palmer as executive managing director. In his new position, Palmer will lead the company’s expansion in Southern California.

Palmer was most recently with CBRE, serving as an executive vice president in charge of its institutional multifamily business. Some of his recent transactions include the $300-million purchase of Palazzo Westwood Village, a class A apartment complex in Los Angeles, located at 1060 Glendon Ave. He was also involved in the $200-million sale of 8th+Hope, a 22-story multifamily tower in downtown Los Angeles. He will be based in Los Angeles.
