Newmark Hires Doug Mueller as Vice Chairman in DC
Newmark has hired Doug Mueller as Vice Chairman in its Washington, D.C. office. Mueller will spearhead agency leasing efforts, focusing on office landlord representation.
In 2024, Mueller’s team completed over 100 transactions, approximately one every three days, resulting in their being recognized as CREBA’s 2024 Top Agents of the Year. He has successfully closed more than 1,000 transactions over the course of his career, representing more than 20 million square feet, with an aggregate deal volume of more than $5 billion.

Mueller joins Newmark from JLL, where he served as an Executive Managing Director and was Co-Head of the firm’s Agency Leasing team in Washington, D.C. He also previously served as a Senior Vice President at CBRE.
