Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Shopping a New Name

By March 31, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank and its various acquired companies will reportedly go by a new name, which has yet to be determined. NGKF, owned by BGC Partners, wants to establish one cohesive brand for its exhaustive list of sister companies.

Since 2005, Newmark partnered with Knight Frank and took over Grubb & Ellis, Cincinnati Commercial Real Estate, Newmark Grubb Memphis, Newmark Cornish & Carey, ARA Newmark and more.

With over 12,800 employees spanning more than 370 offices across six continents, CEO Barry Gosin said, “We’re working on the rollout of a brand that reflects the fact that we are all family.”
