Newmark Facilitates 50K-SF Lease at 1700 Broadway 

Newmark has brokered lease transactions totaling 50,373 square feet at 1700 Broadway in Midtown. Owned by Boston-based real estate private equity firm Rockpoint and managed by Rockhill Management, the lease activities were led by David Falk, Brian Waterman, Peter Shimkin and Daniel Levine.

These agreements span various floors and square footage, including a 6,577-square-foot lease for Northwind Group on the partial 25th floor, a 5,114-square-foot lease for Oaktree Capital Management on the partial 20th floor, and a 13,408-square-foot lease for Denodo Technologies, encompassing the entire 31st floor. 

“The strength of recent leasing activity at 1700 Broadway is a testament to the upgrades we have made to create sophisticated and dynamic spaces that are resonating with tenants,” said Jamie Nicholson, executive vice president of Rockhill Management. 1700 Broadway offers 626,747 square feet of class-A workspace, tenant amenities include access to the 1700 Broadway Club, a private space with a bar, quiet workspaces, meeting rooms and a 2,200-square-foot rooftop terrace.
