Newmark Arranges $24M Sale of Wellesley Medical Office Building

Newmark has arranged the $24.3 million sale of 65 Walnut Street, a medical office building in Wellesley, MA. The property, fully leased to 22 tenants, was sold by Wellesley/Walnut Street LLC to a joint venture between Sendero Capital and TPG Angelo Gordon.

The building, anchored by Mass General Brigham and Tufts Medicine, spans 67,264 square feet and serves various medical specialties. Located near Newton-Wellesley Hospital and major roadways, the property is a healthcare hub for the area. Newmark’s Robert Griffin, Michael Greeley, Joseph Alvarado, and Casey Valente represented the seller and procured the buyer.

“Over the course their multi-decade tenure, former ownership fostered a thriving ecosystem of premier medical practices at 65 Walnut Street. So much so, that it is well-established as the epicenter of healthcare delivery for Newton, Wellesley and the surrounding affluent suburbs,” said Valente.
