Newmark Arranges $23M Sale of Chapel Hill MF Community

Newmark has brokered the $23 million sale of Bridges at Chapel Hill, a 144-unit multifamily community in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Located less than three miles from the University of North Carolina, Bridges at Chapel Hill is a garden community that features a swimming pool, entertaining kitchen, fitness center, lighted tennis court, pet park, and hosts a stop on the free Chapel Hill Transit bus line. Newly renovated apartment amenities include stainless steel appliances, sheet vinyl plank flooring, new cabinet fronts, and painted boxes with wine racks, updated faux granite countertops with lowered counter height bars.

Sean Wood, John Heimburger, Dean Smith, Alex Okulski, John Munroe and Jason Kon of Newmark represented the sellers, KETTLER and The Stillman Group, in the transaction. The buyer was Washington, D.C.-based Republic Properties.
