Newmark Adds Co-Head of GCS Tech Platform

Garrett Cannon has joined Newmark as executive managing director and co-head of information and technology for Global Corporate Services (GCS). He and co-head Carla Hinson will oversee the design, build, sales and operations of Newmark’s dedicated GCS information management and technology platform.

Before joining Newmark, Cannon was head of real estate and asset management for Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund. Earlier in his career, he founded and served as president of Sequentra Solutions LLC; a leading proptech Software as a Service product used by the commercial real estate arms of world-leading companies.
