Newly Public Telecom Firm Expands to Full Occupancy of Otay Mesa Industrial

The newly constructed Britannia Tech Park, a 203,244-square-foot Class A industrial development in San Diego’s Otay Mesa submarket, is now fully leased. Existing tenant Foxx Development, a newly public provider of telecommunications and IoT solutions, expanded its footprint at the property by leasing an additional 102,099-square-foot freestanding building. Hines U.S. Property Partners, Hines’ flagship commingled U.S. core-plus fund, owns the property.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Brant Aberg, SIOR, who leads leasing efforts for Britannia Tech Park, represented Hines. Foxx Development previously occupied 101,145 square feet at the park through a lease and expansion it signed in mid-2024.

“On behalf of Hines and our leasing team, we are ecstatic to have signed Foxx Development to this significant lease expansion that gives them complete occupancy of the project on a long-term basis,” said Aberg. “We also thank the Foxx team for the tremendous partnership in successfully negotiating each of the three leases it took for them to reach this point of occupancy, and we wish them the best in their move as a public company.”
