New(ish) Firm Secures Napa Property, Alongside Corporate Filing

It’s not every day that a new venture capital group gets started, but … today is that day. And this one comes with a notable initial purchase.

According to a news release, commercial real estate industry veterans Jerry Hunt, Mark Pleis, Howard Overton and Kameron Klotz have launched 300 Venture Group (3VG), a new, privately held real estate investments.

That’s the who. Here’s the where: 3VG has closed its first transaction, acquiring a property in Napa, Calif. (Reportedly, a second, value-add Bay Area acquisition is expected to close in another 45 to 60 days.)

“3VG was formed to use our combined decades of experience and exceptionally complementary skill sets to give properties new life and purpose for the 2020s and beyond,” Hunt said. “We’ve been friends and colleagues for years, and now it’s time to work together to execute impeccably, have fun and create real value for our investors, partners and the communities in which we’re going to operate.”
