  • Tishman Speyer has launched a new debt platform, appointing Amit Rustgi from PIMCO as managing director of Credit Strategies. Rustgi will lead CRE loan originations across major U.S. cities, reporting to Randall Rothschild, senior managing director and global head of debt. Rustgi brings extensive experience from PIMCO and Brookfield Asset Management. The platform will leverage over 100 lender relationships and Tishman Speyer’s financing track record.
  • Berkadia has named Damon Rankin as CFO, effective July 1. Rankin, based in the Ambler, Pennsylvania office, will report to President Randy Jenson, who previously managed the finance function. Rankin, formerly Senior Vice President – Finance, brings extensive experience in finance strategy, benchmarking, and partnerships. His prior roles include positions at Deloitte Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He also serves as Finance Chair of the City Year Philadelphia Site Board.
  • CBRE has appointed Lisa Bevacqua as senior managing director, Investor Portfolio Management (IPM). Bevacqua will lead the Brookfield Properties portfolio operated by CBRE, encompassing over 65 million square feet of office space across the U.S. She will oversee a team of nearly 900 professionals and report to Craig Hudleston, Head of IPM and Global COO for Property Management. Previously, Bevacqua was EVP and Head of Asset Management at Silverstein Properties, managing a 16 million-square-foot portfolio. Her experience includes roles at Citi Property Investors and CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners.
  • Bergman Real Estate Group has appointed Dominick Pico as senior property manager. Pico will oversee property management and construction supervision for Northern New Jersey office properties. Pico, with over 30 years of experience, previously managed 1.2 million square feet of properties at Cannon Hill Capital Partners and Mack-Cali. He is Vice President of BOMA NJ and holds RPA and LEED Green Associate certifications.
  • Agora, a real estate investment platform, has appointed Yosi Yadin as VP of Sales and promoted four executives following a $34 million Series B funding round. Yadin, formerly of JFrog, brings 23 years of industry experience. The company also promoted Asaf Raz to VP of Marketing, Daniel Peretz to VP of Customer Success, Yoav Doron to VP of Finance, and Shepsi Berkowitz to VP of Financial Products.
  • Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP has appointed Taylor L. Gonzalez as an associate in the Land Use & Zoning practice group. Gonzalez brings experience in real estate development, commercial transactions, zoning and land use law, municipal law, and commercial litigation.
  • The Fordham School of Professional and Continuing Studies has launched a Hospitality Program under the Fordham Real Estate Institute (REI). The program offers a Master of Science in Hospitality degree, and advanced graduate certificates in Hotel Management, and Hospitality Investment and Development. Designed for aspiring leaders in hospitality management and entrepreneurship, the curriculum covers both hotel management and real estate aspects of the industry.
  • Simone Development Companies and Fareri Associates announced that Summit Health has signed a long-term lease renewal and expansion totaling 19,853 square feet at 644 West Putnam Avenue. Summit Health will renew its existing 14,243 square feet and add 5,610 square feet on the second floor. The landlords were represented by Newmark’s Tim Rorick and in-house teams, while Cushman and Wakefield’s Kevin J. McCarthy represented Summit Health.
