New York Sports Club Reopens in DC

New York Sports Club (NYSC) is returning to its former location near Washington, D.C.’s Dupont Circle. The fitness company has signed a 23,000-square-foot lease at 1211 Connecticut Avenue NW, just south of Dupont Circle, and will reopen the gym.

NYSC had previously operated a club at this location until the pandemic forced it to vacate the space. Now, with the world reopening, the company is making a comeback with a revitalized fitness concept, including a recovery lounge, personal training, barbell racks, and more.

Additionally, NYSC plans to introduce a new boutique fitness concept called “Fhitting Room” later this fall. The property is owned by Office Properties Income Trust, which acquired the building in 2017. JLL brokered the deal representing the landlord.
