  • RockFarmer Properties, a fully integrated real estate development and investment firm, appointed David Krantz as the company’s new head of capital markets. With more than 22 years of extensive experience in the real estate industry, Krantz joins RockFarmer after serving as managing director and head of real estate at Mirae Asset Securities (USA).  
  • Vice chairman Adelaide Polsinelli of Compass, a leading real estate brokerage firm, announced the addition of Eric Kanata as an executive director in the New York commercial division. Kanata’s career spans roles at notable firms such as Jamestown, L&L Holding, and most recently, Silverstein Properties, where he played a pivotal role in asset management. 
  • In a move to bolster its nationally focused debt & structured finance team, RIPCO Real Estate announced that Michael Winter will join the firm as its newest managing director. An industry veteran with 30-plus years of experience, Winter has secured more than $2 billion in real estate loans, established national lending divisions at multiple banks and worked across many sectors, including real estate development. 
  • Lee & Associates NYC has established a new capital advisory group, appointing Dave Carswell as senior managing director and Ryan Fitzpatrick as senior associate. Carswell and Fitzpatrick will work to deliver optimal debt and equity solutions for commercial real estate owners and developers in New York and nationally. 
  • Denholtz Properties, a leading commercial real estate development and investment company, named Katie Kurtz its new CEO. Steven Denholtz, the firm’s previous CEO, will assume the role of chairman and Stephen Cassidy, current president, will serve as managing partner. Kurtz previously served as co-CIO and CFO for Silverstein Properties. 
  • MRI Software, a global leader in real estate software and services, has appointed Robb Napolitano as VP, product innovation, based in New York. In this role, Napolitano will spearhead the continued growth and evolution of MRI’s affordable and public housing solutions, including the recently launched MRI PHA Pro, an integrated solution for public housing and voucher management compliance. 
  • The Cleantech Leaders Roundtable appointed Ann Davlin as its new CEO. Davlin brings more than two decades of experience in cleantech, climate finance, and environmental policy, including significant roles at Constellation Energy and Brevet Capital, where she managed large-scale clean energy investments and developed innovative financing solutions to accelerate the adoption of sustainable technologies. 
  • ICSC has launched RETAIL FORWARD, a new series of streamlined, one-day events offering tenants, owners, brokers and more the opportunity to network, negotiate and make deals. The inaugural event in this new series powered by ICSC will debut Wednesday, Oct. 30 at the Hilton Columbus/Polaris, Columbus, OH.  
  • The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) has launched NYC Lease, a new online lease store, offering a fluid platform for creating residential and commercial lease agreements tailored to the New York City rental market. This solution simplifies lease creation for landlords, tenants, and real estate licensees, according to REBNY. 
  • GreenLite, a construction technology company aiming to make permitting faster and more predictable for builders, developers and municipalities, announced its Series A raise of $28.5 million, led by Craft Ventures with participation from 53 Stations, Trust Ventures and LiveOak Ventures. The new funding comes less than a year after GreenLite’s launch from stealth. 
  • Cherre, a real estate data management and intelligence platform, raised a $30-million Series C round led by HighSage Ventures, a permanent capital-backed investment firm. Additional participants in this round include leading real estate enterprise investors Nuveen Real Estate, RXR and certain principals of TA Realty, as well as current investors Trustbridge Partners, Glilot Capital Partners, Intel Capital and Carthona Capital. 
  • Nicholas E. Bowers, Esq., of NBowers, P.C., and Andrew C. Jorges, Esq., of The Jorges Law Firm, have merged their respective law firms as Jorges & Bowers LLP. The union brings together two legal practices known for their commitment to serving clients in the complex landscape of New York real estate law and estate planning and administration.
