- Global investment bank Houlihan Lokey, Inc. announced that John Guzzo has joined as a managing director in its Financial Services Group. Based in New York, Guzzo joins the firm with more than 25 years of M&A and financial services experience. Before joining the firm, he was a managing director at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc, a Stifel company, where he led the Mortgage Technology & PropTech investment banking practice within the FinTech & Financial Services Group.
- BGO appointed Dyice Ellis-Beckham as a managing director on the firm’s U.S. Capital Raising team. Based in New York, she will be responsible for cultivating new relationships with limited partners and consultants in the U.S. Midwest and Eastern regions. Before joining the firm, Ellis-Beckham served as Managing Director at H.I.G. Capital on the Capital Formation Group’s Partners Advisory team.
- Aron Schreier has joined occupier-centric commercial real estate firm Cresa as a principal in its New York City office. A 26-year veteran of the industry, Schreier is noted for his brokerage experience with some of the largest international financial institutions, having negotiated over 50 deals and hundreds of thousands of square feet of leases in New York City on their behalf.
- Syska Hennessy Group, the international engineering firm, has promoted four senior staff members in the New York office. The promoted staff members include Darren Alfano, CPA, from associate partner to associate principal; Michelle Galindez, LEED AP, from director of marketing & communications to chief marketing officer; Timothy Krawetz, PE, LEED AP, from senior principal to executive principal; and Richard Nowak, from associate principal to principal.
- Skanska, a leading global development and construction firm, has made two promotions in its U.S. building operations. Effective immediately, Jenny Chandler Graham has been promoted to EVP – chief strategy officer, and Tieg Murray Rustam to VP – market strategy and creative services, both with Skanska USA Building.
- Aquarian Holdings, a diversified global holding company with a strategic portfolio of insurance and asset management solutions, has formed Aquarian Real Estate Partners (AREP), which will enhance the company’s real estate investments and commitment to providing durable value for investors and clients. AREP will invest in commercial real estate and real estate-related investments across various asset types, geographies, and tiers of the capital structure.
- RD Management LLC, a real estate investment and management firm, has consolidated various affiliated partnerships into a newly formed entity, RD Property LLC. The rollup unifies a diverse collection of real estate holdings under a single platform designed to streamline operations, enhance growth prospects and strengthen capital resources. Simultaneously with its formation, RD Property LLC closed on a $350- million term loan and revolving credit facility.
- Empire State Realty Trust, Inc. said it achieved the highest possible Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) 5 Star Rating for the sixth consecutive year with a score of 93 and an A in public disclosure. ESRT achieved the highest management score for all 575 ranked companies in the Americas, and the second highest overall score for all listed companies in the Americas.
