  • Steven Lunsford has been promoted to VP and assistant general counsel for significant areas of Skanska USA Civil’s East region, which includes projects in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic (Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, North Carolina and Florida) and the Northeast (New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut) business units. With more than 10 years at Skanska and 17 years of experience in construction law and litigation, Lunsford has served as assistant general counsel for the Southeast region since 2014.  
  • Max Benjamin Partners, a boutique real estate investment bank, hired 20-year commercial real estate investment professional Mike Kim as SVP in its New York City office. Kim will be responsible for expanding MBP’s presence on the East Coast, originating new investment opportunities, placing structured debt and equity capital, and developing new capital and sponsor relationships. 
  • BEB Capital has appointed Christopher Giamo, Jeffrey Weiner and Adam Radosti as key advisors to BEB Credit, an affiliate of BEB Capital, as it anticipates the upcoming launch of BEB Credit Opportunity Fund II. Giamo, Weiner, and Radosti will advise regarding portfolio valuation, investment strategy alignment, major decisions and approvals, risk management and governance, performance monitoring, capital and real estate markets, strategic insight and investor representation. 
  • WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate announced that its 2025 Woman of the Year Gala will honor Sonia Kaur Bain, a partner in the real estate group at Blank Rome LLP and a leading figure in the commercial real estate industry. The gala will take place on Thursday, Oct. 9 at The Plaza in New York City. 
  • Kathy A. Younkins, co-founding partner of Younkins & Schecter LLP, a leading Manhattan-based, women-owned law firm with a dedicated commercial real estate practice, will be honored for the 15th consecutive year with the New York-Metro Super Lawyers award. The award is based upon peer evaluations, professional achievements and independent research. 
  • HELP USAa national homeless services provider and affordable housing developer, will launch its 40th anniversary celebration at HELP Heroes Night on Thursday, June 12 at Tribeca 360 in New York City. HELP Heroes Night will honor four changemakers whose leadership and advocacy have driven progress and inspired hope across the housing and homelessness sectors. They include actor William Baldwin; artist and activist Linda Goode Bryant; Savills vice chairman North America and HELP USA board member Arthur J. Mirante II; and service firm Savills
