- Newmark has hired Chris Hope, a General Partner (GP) Solutions advisor with nearly two decades of private market and secondary advisory experience, as senior managing director in its Strategic Advisory division, where he will lead its General Partner Stakes and Capital Solutions business. He’s based in New York.
- SL Green Realty Corp. appointed Peggy Lamb as an independent director to the REIT’s board of directors. Lamb has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. She currently serves as managing director of Halstatt, LLC and as a principal in the Halstatt Real Estate Partners private equity real estate funds.
- Belkin Burden Goldman, LLP (BBG), a leading real estate law firm established in 1989, has added five attorneys from Seiden & Schein, P.C. The strategic move establishes BBG’s new Tax Exemptions and Zoning Incentives Department. The new practice group will be led by partners David Shamshovich and Jason C. Hershkowitz, joined by associates Brenda J. Slochowsky, Camila Almeida and Frank Baquero.
- ISS North America, a leading workplace experience and facility management company and one of the world’s largest private employers with 320,000 employees, has appointed Chely Wright as SVP and head of corporate social responsibility & new markets for North America. She will drive initiatives that strengthen and grow the company’s client relationships and celebrate its internal culture, including a focus on new partnerships and ventures that bring together like-minded corporate partners and community organizations.
- Gilbane Building Company, a global leader in construction management, hired Corryn Carey and Gregory Baker as project executives for its Upstate New York business, based in Albany. Both Carey and Baker bring a wealth of construction field experience and proven track records of leading building programs.
- Denholtz, a leading privately held investment management firm, has hired Warren Loy as SVP and head of asset management and Nicole Vasquez as VP, asset management. Loy joins Denholtz from Lendlease, where he served as director of asset management. Vasquez brings more than a decade of experience and demonstrated success in property and asset management.
- Rose Valley Management, a multi-generational property management firm with experience in operating properties in 13 states and Canada, announced Kelley Brine as president, leading the company’s strategic expansion of its property management vertical. Since joining the firm, Kelley has been driving growth initiatives, strengthening operations and expanding Rose Valley’s industry presence through new third-party management partnerships.
