  • Scott Hutchinson and Hana Friedman join Colliers in its hospitality capital markets platform from CBRE and will be based in Boston and New York, respectively. The pair brings a combined track record of nearly $2 billion in hospitality transactions across more than 20 states. They will work together in Colliers’ Hospitality Practice Group, led by Mark Owens, Vice Chair, across investment sales, debt and equity placement, and advisory services. 
  • Corley Audorff and Josh Williams have joined Greystone as directors. Both based in Atlanta, Audorff and Williams will focus on loan originations for multifamily and seniors housing / healthcare assets, reporting to Field Springer, COO of Greystone’s FHA Lending platform. 
  • ICSC has promoted Moutray McLaren to the role of EVP, public policy. McLaren previously served as SVP, public policy at ICSC, and will take on the new role following the retirement of Betsy Laird. 
  • SitusAMC appointed Mike Benz as managing director of commercial real estate revenue for the firm’s CRE division. He will focus on developing and executing strategies that drive revenue, expand client relationships, and enhance customer satisfaction in alignment with SitusAMC’s strategic objectives. 
  • Greystar appointed Steve Oliveira as managing director of logistics, a role that reflects the company’s expanding commitment to the industrial and logistics sector. Based in New Jersey, Oliveira will lead the company’s logistics and industrial strategy, including development, acquisitions, execution and long-term portfolio growth.  
  • James Carolan has joined Crowell & Moring‘s Corporate Group as senior counsel, bringing over 35 years of experience advising major corporations, investors, funds, universities, and tax-exempt organizations on their real estate needs. At Crowell, Carolan’s practice will focus heavily on the real estate aspects of corporate and merger & acquisition transactions.  
  • Belah Terentjev has been appointed as director, acquisitions at Sagard Real Estate, where she will focus on real estate acquisitions and portfolio growth across the Northeast. Terentjev brings more than eight years of experience across real estate acquisitions, asset management and debt. Most recently, she spent three years at GLP Capital Partners, focusing on industrial real estate opportunities, including stabilized, value-add and development projects. 
  • Arrow Real Estate Advisors has expanded its team with the addition of Jacob Schmuckler and Eli Serebrowski as senior directors, and Meir Schlusselberg as a VP. They bring extensive experience and have collectively closed more than 2,300 transactions totaling over $15 billion in loan volume. Their backgrounds span multifamily, office, industrial, retail, construction and hospitality. 
  • MAXX Properties, a privately held real estate company headquartered in Purchase, NY, announced that Tiffany Stanley has joined as COO. She most recently served as managing director and head of property & asset management at BMC Investments in Denver and previously held roles at Steadfast Apartment REIT and Camden Property Trust, with leadership roles spanning as many as 24,000 market-rate apartment homes. 
  • Jake Rosen joins Katz & Associates’ New York City office as an associate. He’ll be working on landlord and tenant leasing across the New York City metropolitan area and Long Island. Rosen currently represents approximately 15,000 square feet in exclusive listings across NYC Metro and in Roslyn Heights, Long Island.  
  • Saluda Grade, an alternative investment firm specializing in asset-based finance with a focus on residential real estate, has acquired Hillcrest Finance, a minority- and women-owned investment firm with expertise in commercial real estate. The acquisition comes a year after Saluda Grade acquired a passive minority stake in Hillcrest.
  • MDH Partners, an Atlanta-based real estate investment company managing its discretionary funds targeting industrial real estate across the U.S. on behalf of its institutional investors has hired Matt Ludwig as Director of Debt Capital Markets in its Atlanta office.  This role involves leading the sourcing, origination, and execution of debt financing transactions across their investments and developing the financing strategy for a multi-billion-dollar real estate investment platform. Matt was previously a Director with Bridge Investment Group.  Executive search firm RETS Associates handled the search.
