  • Cohen & Steers, Inc. appointed Seth Laughlin as SVP and head of real estate strategy & research. Laughlin most recently served as managing director and head of U.S. market research at Green Street, where he led a team responsible for research coverage of the top 50 U.S. real estate markets. 
  • Cresa announced that Chip Conklin and Chris Masi have joined the company as a principal and SVP, respectively. Based in the Rutherford, NJ office, Conklin and Masi will work with office clients throughout the Northeast corridor. Conklin joins from Savills, while Masi joins from JLL. 
  • Reuveni Development Marketing has appointed former Macklowe Properties executive Richard Dubrow as director of marketing and branding. Dubrow, best known for his 14-year tenure at Macklowe Properties, will be responsible for guiding the internal and external marketing teams and driving the firm’s strategic growth for all upcoming new development projects, many of which are conversions, a specialty of Dubrow’s.     
  • Postal Realty Trust, Inc. said Robert Klein has notified the company of his intention to resign as CFO to accept a position with a privately held real estate company. Jeremy Garber, the company’s president, treasurer and secretary, will serve as the company’s interim CFO during the search process for a permanent successor.  
  • Tracey Hyatt Bosman, CEcD, managing director at Biggins Lacy Shapiro & Company, has been awarded the CRE (Counselor of Real Estate) credential by The Counselors of Real Estate, an international group of high-profile real estate practitioners who provide expert advisory services to clients on complex real property and land-related matters. Bosman develops and executes location selection strategies for corporate and institutional clients.  
  • Younkins & Schecter LLP, a leading Manhattan-based, women-owned law firm, is representing Vanbarton Group as it prepares the residential conversion of 77 Water St., a former office tower in the Financial District. Plans for the approximately 600,000-square-foot, 26-story property, originally built by the William Kaufman Organization in 1970, include the development of 600 residential units. 
  • United Way of Northern New Jersey honored Crow Holdings at Carteret for its exemplary commitment to community with the 2025 Industrial Impact Award at the organization’s 26th Annual Commercial Real Estate Legacy Event this spring. Delivered in 2023, the property has brought new life to a long-dormant, former brownfield site located north of Industrial Highway near the mouth of the Rahway River.

Paul Bubny serves as Senior Content Director for Connect Commercial Real Estate, a role to which he brings 16-plus years’ experience covering the commercial real estate industry and 30-plus years in business-to-business journalism. In this capacity, he oversees daily operations while also reporting on both local/regional markets and national trends, covering individual transactions across all property types, as well as delving into broader subject matter. Prior to joining Connect, Paul was Managing Editor for both Real Estate Forum and GlobeSt.com at American Lawyer Media, where he oversaw operations at both publications while also producing daily news and feature-length articles. His tenure in B2B publishing stretches back into the print era, and he has served as Editor in Chief on four national trade publications. Since 1999, Paul has volunteered as the newsletter editor of passenger rail advocacy groups (one national, one local).
