- Trepp, a leading provider of data, insights, and technology solutions to the structured finance, commercial real estate, and banking markets, has added Rachel Szymanski as chief economist. Szymanski brings an extensive background in research and risk analysis, previously specializing in quantitative finance at Bank of America.
- M&T Bank appointed Shannon Lazare as its New Jersey regional president. Lazare, who joined M&T in 2013 as a senior relationship manager, will lead the bank’s local growth and community engagement initiatives throughout New Jersey. She succeeds Tom Comiskey who served as M&T’s New Jersey regional president for nine years and was elevated last year to area executive in its Commercial Bank.
- Responding to a surge in demand for strategic approaches to real estate among both healthy and distressed operators across all sectors, A&G Real Estate Partners has tapped industry veteran Tony Grant as senior managing director. Grant, based in Ann Arbor, MI, has negotiated more than $500 million in lease savings over the course of his more than 20-year career. He began working with A&G as a senior consultant with the onset of the pandemic in 2020.
- Law firm Cozen O’Connor said one of the city’s leading real estate litigators, Christopher Cobb, has joined its expanding Condominiums and Cooperatives practice. Joining from Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP, Cobb brings to the firm nearly three decades of experience as a residential real estate and construction litigator with substantial cooperative housing and condominium practice. He joins the firm as a member and will work out of Cozen O’Connor’s New York City office.
- Lowenstein Sandler has continued its strategic growth with the hiring of two new partners. Daniel L. Forman is joining the Capital Markets & Securities practice, and Matthew R. Friedenberg is joining in Business Litigation. Both will be based in the firm’s New York City office and join from Ropes & Gray and Vinson & Elkins, respectively.
- PREMIER Design + Build Group announced the retirement of Karl Hoermann, SVP and director of construction for the Northeast Division. During his tenure at PREMIER, Hoermann made significant contributions to the Northeast Division, establishing strong client and community relationships and expanding PREMIER’s footprint in the region.
- Norwalk, CT-based 365 Data Centers has refinanced a portion of its outstanding debt. The refinancing results in additional cash on the company’s balance sheet and increased cash flow to support revenue growth initiatives, including infrastructure improvements to support higher-density deployments.
