  • GID Investment Advisers, a real estate investment management firm with more than $29 billion in assets under management, said that James Linsley, president of GID Development Group, will be retiring after 17 years of leadership with GID’s development platform to pursue long-planned personal adventures. John Gagnier will assume the role of president, effective Sept. 1. Gagnier has served as COO of GID Development for a decade and has worked closely alongside Linsley since his retirement was announced internally in March 2024. 
  • Granite Point Mortgage Trust Inc. appointed Blake Johnson as CFO, effective Dec. 1, 2024. He will join the company no later than Oct. 28 as deputy CFO before assuming the CFO role. The appointment follows Marcin Urbaszek, Granite Point’s current CFO, submitting a letter of resignation to the company’s board of directors. Urbaszek will remain with Granite Point until Johnson’s official appointment as CFO in December to facilitate a smooth transition. 
  • Stephen Overpeck has joined BDO USA as a principal in the firm’s assurance practice. Based in New York, Overpeck has more than 17 years of experience working with both public and private companies in the financial services industry with extensive experience auditing and advising real estate entities. In addition, his experience includes optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of clients’ accounting and finance functions, specifically in response to complex transactions and new accounting standards. 
  • Paris Baguette, a global bakery café franchise with more than 170 locations across the U.S., has hired Norm Ginsberg as VP of operations. He will oversee all operations aspects of Moonachie, NJ-based Paris Baguette’s expanding network. The company has also promoted Brian Egan to VP of development from his role as director of new store construction. 
  • CRH plc, a New York-based provider of building materials solutions, appointed Lauren Schulz as the company’s chief communications officer. Schulz will lead CRH’s global communications strategy, brand and corporate narrative across all markets. Most recently, Schulz served as head of global communications at Verizon Business, where she played a key role in shaping the company’s global communication initiatives. 
  • Incremental, a leader in neutral retail media measurement, has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Alex Juday as SVP of commerce strategy. Juday, who will be based in New York, has a track record of driving growth and innovation at companies including Pacvue and Procter & Gamble. 
  • Skyline RoboticsThe Durst Organization and Palladium Window Solutions have deployed Ozmo, the world’s first robotic-armed window-cleaning robot, at a New York City skyscraper. Ozmo will maintain 1133 Ave. of the Americas, a 45-story Class A office tower owned and managed by The Durst Organization. 1133 Ave. of the Americas is said to be the only skyscraper in the world utilizing an automated window cleaning system.
