- Allen Matkins announced today the addition of two lateral partners to its growing New York office. First-chair trial lawyer Brian Hail joins the firm as a partner in the Litigation Group, and David Brooks joins as a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Group and will focus on commercial leasing transactions.
- Altus Power, reportedly the largest commercial-scale provider of clean electric power, announced that Richard A. Shapiro has joined the Stamford, CT-based company’s board of directors. Shapiro will serve as chair of the compensation committee. Shapiro brings nearly three decades of investment management experience, as well as restructuring and turnaround experience from the board level.
- Odyssey Retail Advisors, a retail real estate advisory group, recently promoted Gabriel Paisner from senior director to retail VP. As one of Odyssey’s original employees, Paisner has had a successful five-year tenure at the firm characterized by notable deals. Since joining Odyssey in 2019, Gabriel has worked both locally and nationally with various retailers including Evisu, Salvatore Ferragamo, Veja, Leica, PDPaola, as well as Philipp Plein in his national expansion efforts.
- Getty Realty Corp. has launched an underwritten public offering of an aggregate of 3,500,000 shares of its common stock. The forward purchasers (or their affiliates) and the company intend to grant the underwriters of the offering a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 525,000 shares of common stock. BofA Securities, J.P. Morgan and KeyBanc Capital Markets are acting as the book-running managers for the offering.
- Investor/developer Einav Gelberg and partners appointed The Luxury Alliance Team at SERHANT. as the exclusive marketing and sales agency for The James, a newly completed condominium development located at 258 St. James Place in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. The James introduces eight exclusive residences ranging from one-bedroom units to expansive floor-through two-bedroom layouts, with sizes ranging from 579 to 1,344 square feet, with price points starting at $799,000.
