  • Walker & Dunlop, Inc. has hired Andrew Kaskel as senior managing director to lead its Digital Infrastructure Advisory Services Group, based in New York. Kaskel will partner with Walker & Dunlop’s Institutional Capital Markets team across the country to finance the development and ownership of data centers and other digital infrastructures. 
  • Newmark hired Greg Conen, one of New York City’s leaders in new construction office leasing, as a vice chairman. Conen will work closely with executive vice chairmen Howard Hersch and Steven Rotter and vice chairman Scott Klau to lead and scale Newmark’s high-profile new construction agency leasing assignments throughout Manhattan.
  • Prologis promoted Read Mortimer to SVP, investment officer for the New Jersey market, where he will oversee all capital deployment activities in the region. He brings nearly 20 years of expertise in the real estate industry, encompassing acquisitions, debt originations, and portfolio management. Throughout his 18-year career, Mortimer has been involved in more than $5.5 billion of real estate transactions, including over 32.5 million square feet of commercial properties. 
  • RIPCO Real Estate, a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm, hired Alan Miller as managing director in its investment sales division. With four decades of extensive experience in the New York real estate market, Miller brings a wealth of knowledge in selling diverse real estate assets. He will be based in RIPCO’s Manhattan office. 
  • Matt Tryder has been appointed VP of construction business development in the Northeast for the NRP Group, where he will oversee new business opportunities in New York and New Jersey, cultivating relationships on the ground and increasing the company’s third-party footprint. Tryder brings more than 22 years of experience in the multifamily industry. 
  • Adler & Stachenfeld LLP, a pure-play real estate law firm, announced that Ryan McCaffrey has joined as a partner in its Real Estate Practice Group. He will divide his time between New York City and Philadelphia, expanding the firm’s footprint on the East Coast. 
  • AppWork, a fast-growing software platform purpose-built to streamline maintenance operations for multifamily property management teams, has secured a $13-million Series A investment led by Resolve Growth Partners, a growth equity firm focused on investing in and scaling leading vertical SaaS companies. As part of the investment, Resolve cofounder Jit Sinha will join Ramseyn NJ-based AppWork’s Board of Directors. 
  • Adaptis, a platform intended to align sustainability and profitability for building owners and operators, announced continued growth following its $4-million seed round led by Building Ventures with notable participation from MetaProp, 2048 Ventures, Powerhouse Ventures and Blue Vision Capital. The recent funding has been instrumental in scaling the platform across various geographies, making key hires in the sales team and enabling Adaptis to broaden its reach across all asset classes beyond Class A properties.
