New York Life Acquires 245-Unit Dunwoody Apartment Project
New York Life purchased the Perimeter Gardens at Georgetown in Dunwoody. The price paid was $53.5 million. Sentinel Real Estate was the seller.
The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports the community last traded hands in 2017, when Sentinel purchased it from AMLI Residential for about $45.3 million.
On North Shallowford Road just north of Interstate 285, Perimeter Gardens at Georgetown was delivered in 2006 and features 245 multifamily units.
The community offers one- and two-bedroom floor plans. It also features a variety of shared amenities for residents, including two swimming pools, a coffee bar and a car care center.
New York Life’s Robert Bevers added, “With its strong tenancy, desirable location within Dunwoody and compelling market fundamentals, we believe that our renovation and capital plan will be well received by the market and deliver long-term value.”
