New York Hotelier Announces 217-Key Dream Hotel

Dream Hotel Group, a hotel management company headquartered in New York City, announced plans to build a 217-room hotel in an area overlooking the San Antonio River. While the developer didn’t confirm the actual hotel site, sources told the Rivard Report that the hotel will be at 107 E. Martin St., which is currently occupied by a one-story commercial building. The site is also in a federally-designated Opportunity Zone.

Construction is anticipated to begin on the project in 2021, with completion scheduled for 2023. In addition to guestrooms, the hotel will offer dining and nightlife venues, a rooftop pool, fitness facilities and meeting space. CUBE3 Architects was named as the conceptual design team.
