New Wave Energy Leases Floor at New Ybor City Space

New York-based alternative energy supplier New Wave Energy has leased 4,160 square feet at Casa Gomez, a 20,012-square-foot mixed-use building under construction in historic Ybor City of Tampa Bay, FL. New Wave Energy will occupy a full floor at the property located at 1229 East 8th Avenue.

The JLL brokerage team of Executive Vice President Jim Moler and Vice President Lisa Coulter represented owner Darryl Shaw’s Casa Ybor. The tenant was represented by Tom Mastrodonato with Mihara and Associates.

“As companies look for alternatives to Tampa’s traditional office submarkets such as Downtown Tampa and Westshore, amenity-rich districts like Ybor City are becoming increasingly popular thanks to their pedestrian-friendly atmosphere and bountiful retail offerings,” said Coulter. “With its mixed-use design and convenient location in the walkable historic district, Casa Gomez is a textbook example of the kind of development where employees will want to come back to the office.”
