New Toys and Collectibles Store to Open in Times Square
Tamashii Nations, the Japanese collectibles brand under Bandai Namco’s umbrella, has signed a 1,324-square-foot retail space at 1500 Broadway in the middle of Times Square.
Based in Minato, Tokyo, Bandai Namco stands as a Japanese multinational conglomerate and holding company. Its inception on September 29, 2005, emerged from the merger of Bandai and Namco. The corporation boasts expertise across diverse sectors, ranging from toys, video games, and arcades to anime, restaurants, and amusement parks.
CBRE’s Henry Rossignol and Anthony Stanford brokered the lease. Maki Yamamoto of ARBA-L New York represented Tamashii Nations in the lease negotiations. “We believe Times Square is the perfect location to introduce Tamashii Nations to the New York City market in this initial short-term deal given the company’s expanding popularity and international presence, and we are incredibly excited to welcome them to 1500 Broadway,” said Rossignol.
