New Tacoma Apartment Complex Sells for Record Price
Kidder Mathews’ Austin Kelley and Ben Norbe have represented the buyer in the $46 million, off-market sale of the newly built Sixth & Alder luxury apartments in Tacoma, WA. According to Kidder, the $614 price per net rentable square feet is the highest in the history of Pierce County.
“The sale of Sixth & Alder apartments demonstrates yet another example of tremendous investor activity in the Tacoma market,” said Kelley. “Tacoma has seen some of the highest year-over-year rent growths in the Puget Sound Region.”
The property, located in the heart of Tacoma’s 6th Avenue District, is walking distance from Wright Park, Franklin Park and the University of Puget Sound. The community features 111 units and offers a unique range of amenities including an on-site dog washing station, EV charging and a rooftop putting green.
