New SDSU Student Housing Project Starts Pre-Leasing
Pierce Education Properties (PEP) has announced that its Topaz student housing and retail development adjacent to San Diego State University has started pre-leasing. The 169-bed community on Montezuma Road is scheduled to open for student occupancy in August of 2023.
Topaz will provide badly-needed student housing, as well adding new retail tenants including new space for McDonald’s. The facility will feature fully-furnished units ranging from one-bedroom to four-bedrooms and will offer faux-wood floors, granite countertops, in-unit washers and dryers and 50-inch Smart TV’s. Community amenities include landscaped courtyards, private study and conference rooms, a spa, game room, fitness center and vertical tanning booth.
“This development has been so positively received by the College Area community, who applauded its cutting-edge design and mixed use program,” said PEP CEO Fred Pierce, a graduate of SDSU. “Student residents will enjoy the spacious units and top-of-the-line amenities in immediate walking distance to campus.”
