New Renderings for Essex Crossing
The developers of Essex Crossing have unveiled new renderings of the next phase of their giant project on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
Phase two at Essex Crossing will include three new buildings including hundreds of apartments, office space and the Market Line, a 150,000-square-foot retail destination.
– Phase two’s “Site Three,” designed by CetraRuddy, will include market-rate condominiums, office space and more of the Market Line.
– Phase two’s “Site Four,” designed by Handel Architects, will include 263 rental apartments, half of which will be affordable, and part of the Market Line.
“Architecturally, three and four are really strong —- they help complete what we’re doing along Delancey,” said Isaac Henderson to Curbed. He is project manager for Essex Crossing’s Delancey Street Associates, a collaboration between L & M Development Partners, BFC Partners, and Taconic.
