New Owners Plan Beverly Hills Country Club Remodel

The new owners of the famous Beverly Hills Country Club are already planning a $10-million remodel on the asset. Gene Axelrod’s L.A. Partners sold the club to Chicago-based Singerman Real Estate and Meriwether Cos., of Boulder, Colo.

Renovations of the 34,000-square-foot clubhouse and pool area will begin early next year. Opened in 1926, the club was popular with Hollywood actors and actresses. It now has about 1,500 members.
