Cadence McShane just finished clearing the site for a new multifamily housing and retail development its building at 13621 Lyndhurst St. in Austin. It will be located adjacent to the Lakeline Station MetroRail and bus hub. The still-unnamed project will feature two four-story buildings that will combine to house 378 units and include 7,000 square feet of retail space.

One of the buildings will have 165 units and 2,000 square feet of retail, the other will have 213 units and 5,000 feet of retail. Apartments will feature balconies, kitchen islands and wood-style flooring. Community amenities will include two fitness centers, multiple pools and electric vehicle charging stations.

The retail portion of the development is planned to include a coffee-beer-wine shop, a restaurant, small convenience story and outdoor seating areas.

Cadence McShane is collaborating on the project with Sabot Development, American Residential Group and STG Design. Construction is expected to be completed in fall 2024.
