New Leases Spur Marketplace at Ninety-Six Phase II

Leases signed by Ace Hardware and Dollar Tree have led to construction on phase II of Marketplace at Ninety-Six in Galveston County. NewQuest Properties will break ground on a new 22,700-square-foot building that will house the retailers by the end of 2018.

Each national chain leased 10,000 square feet at the Kroger-anchored, 208,500-square-foot retail development at League City Parkway and Hobbs Road in League City, TX. The stores are scheduled for a fall 2019 opening.

NewQuest’s Rebecca Le and Heather Nguyen represented the developer in the transaction, and plan to have the building 100% preleased before groundbreaking. Talks are in progress with a liquor store for the 2,700-square-foot balance. Tenant representatives were Ted Lacy of MTN Retail Advisors in Salt Lake City for Ace Hardware, and Jeffrey A. Read of Read King Inc. for Dollar Tree.
