New Kimpton Hotel Opens in Denver
The Kimpton Claret Hotel opened at 6985 E. Chenango Ave. in the heart of the fast-developing Belleview Station neighborhood along the growing Denver South Corridor. The area is home to restaurants, shops, with easy access to downtown Denver via the light rail. Reservations can now be made, and rates start at $229 per night.
The 19-story Kimpton Claret Hotel offers 190 guest rooms and 10,000 square feet of meeting space, which can accommodate groups of up to 250. The space includes two ballrooms, a boardroom, a pre-function space and an outdoor terrace.
The lobby eatery, named Saverina, is an Italian-inspired restaurant serving American fare. The hotel’s Halo Rooftop Bar offers a 3,500-square-foot, indoor and outdoor space with 180-degree views of the Rocky Mountains.
Cypress 16 and McClurg Century Investments are the hotel’s developers. Washington, D.C.-based KGD Architecture designed the project. This is Kimpton’s second hotel in Denver, a sister property to the Hotel Monaco Denver located at 1717 Champa Street.
