New Kearny Mesa Distribution Facility Sells for $162M
Newmark has completed the sale of Kearny Mesa Logistics Center, 299,000-square-foot distribution facility in San Diego. The firm represented the sellers, Lincoln Property Company and a real estate fund advised by Crow Holdings Capital. The undisclosed buyer purchased the property for a reported $162 million.
“Kearny Mesa Logistics Center is one of the best industrial assets in San Diego, given its high-quality, sustainable design and scale. The property is strategically located to service the region and provide transportation solutions for a growing e-commerce customer base,” said Newmark’s Andrew Briner, who teamed with Kevin Shannon, Bret Hardy, Jim Linn, Brunson Howard and Ken White to facilitate the transaction.
The Class A industrial facility is located at 5650 Kearny Mesa Road on 15 acres, and is fully leased to a large e-commerce company. The project features modern finishes, a 36’ clear height, cross-dock configuration, abundant dock-high loading capabilities and 120’ concrete truck courts.
