Planned KDC Dallas Highrise to Go Vertical in May
Developer KDC, along with Miyama USA, is almost ready to go with building Dallas’ latest office high-rise, Parkside Uptown. It will include retail and food and beverage options. Public filings say the project, which will tower over Klyde Warren Park will cost $200 million to build. KDC hopes to allow tenants in, in 2026.
KDC indicates on its website the project will incorporate 493,000 square feet of space and will rise 30-stories. Here’s more from its website, “Parkside Uptown extends the green space (from the neighboring park) high onto its façade and welcomes pedestrians with wide sidewalks, ground level retail and a spectacular corner plaza shaded by a heroically cantilevered structure”
The site also touts the prime location: “Just outside the front door is the incredible urban oasis of Klyde Warren Park, featuring gourmet food trucks, café-style seating, and plenty of room to relax and play.”
The tower is designed by New York-based architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates in partnership with Dallas-based Corgan.
